Tyler Jones, President
After almost 15 years working in corporate Information Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, Tyler Jones left his role as Vice President of Service Operations with a national payroll provider in 2011 to start Carmichael Consulting Solutions, LLC.
Jones’ passion for technology coupled with his passion for customer service comes much to the delight of our customers. He is ITIL certified in Service Management, a Certified Support Manager with SSPA and SCP, a Clio Certified Consultant, a Dropbox for Business partner, an Apple Certified Support Professional and also has the Apple Mobile Technical Competency certification. Jones is a regionally known broadcaster and author and is very active with his church, Alpharetta Presbyterian Church.

Desmond J. Hardy, Sales Manager
In his capacity as Sales Manager, Desmond Hardy is responsible for sales prospecting, contract negotiation, and onboarding of new clients. Hardy also works to develop and strengthen existing client partnerships, manage projects and set annual acquisition goals for the Carmichael team. Prior to joining Carmichael, Hardy worked for VMware, where he served as the firm’s Federal Enterprise Sales Specialist.
With more than 15 years of sales experience spanning the telecom, cloud and software service (SaaS) industries, Hardy is a seasoned consultative sales expert. He has earned more than 20 sales awards and citations and has landed over $50 million in business during his career.
Hardy earned a BA in Psychology from Alabama A&M University and holds consultative sales certifications from Sandler and Axiom Sales Force Development. He also holds a VMware certificate in Enterprise Mobility Management. Active in his community, Hardy is involved with Toastmaster’s International, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Atlanta and the Red Cross. His hobbies include running in 5K races across the southeast, reading, powerlifting, hiking and traveling.
Haines Friedman, Senior Technical Architect
With a passion for problem solving and a proficiency in many platforms and programs including Mac, Windows, Puppet, Ghost, Python, Bash and VirtualBox to name a few, Haines Friedman delivers exceptional IT support and system administration. Prior to joining Carmichael Consulting Solutions, Haines worked as a technical consultant to several Atlanta area businesses and as a system administrator for a private school in the Boston area. He also founded and ran a tech consultancy firm, servicing several dozen clients. Haines attended Northeastern University and continues to work toward his degree in Informational Science.
Dexter Broadus, Service Engineer
Quick thinking and adaptability allow Dexter Broadus Jr. to provide an exceptional customer experience. Dexter is proficient in virtually all of the latest platforms and programs including Active Directory, Exchange Server, VMware ESX, Windows Server, Powershell, Windows Firewall, MS Office 2007-365, Citrix, TCP/IP, Blackberry BES/BAS and Apple IOS. Prior to joining Carmichael Consulting, Dexter provided IT support for the U.S. Airforce both domestically and abroad, and worked as a system administrator to well-known IT businesses in the Atlanta area. Dexter is a candidate for a bachelor of arts in computer science from the University of Maryland.
Kenneth Florence, Service Engineer
Ken Florence brings his dedication to excellence and customer-focused attitude to the position of Customer Service Engineer, where he is tasked with providing superior assistance and support to Carmichael Consulting clients. Prior to joining Carmichael, Ken worked as a Regional Support Technician with Tolt Solutions, where he fine-tuned his customer service skills and IT troubleshooting abilities. A native of Atlanta, he also spent five years with Toys ‘R Us, working his way up to the position of Asset Protection Specialist. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science from DeVry University in Computer Information Systems and is a programming member of the Independent Game Developer Association.
Dan Hamilton, Service Engineer
Dan started his career in electronic engineering with Western Electric in 1970 after graduating from ITT. He has worked for several major telecommunications companies including AT&T as an associate engineer, technical supervisor, cellular engineer, network operations manager and most recently an IT network engineer. In all, he has over 45 years of experience in electronics, always maintaining that quality work is his number one priority. He is a certified electronics technician and holds various industry-related certificates and licenses. His hobbies include learning new technology, photography, audio/video projects and “tinkering” with gadgets. Dan is active in his church, volunteering with various audio/video activities, as well as doing work with theater sound and lighting.
Lee Jones, Office Manager
Lee is responsible for the organization and coordination of day-to-day office operations. Whether answering phone calls, managing payroll, bookkeeping or paying the bills, Lee uses her organization and management skills to keep things running smoothly. Prior to joining Carmichael Consulting Solutions, LLC, Lee was a very active stay-at-home mom. Among other volunteer work, she was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and PTA VP/Chairperson where she led meetings, managed programs and events and coordinated volunteers. Prior to leaving the workforce, Lee was a preschool teacher in Alpharetta, GA. Lee is active in her church, enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.
