ALPHARETTA, GA – December 2013 – Carmichael Consulting, an Alpharetta-based Managed IT Services provider and member of the Apple Consultants Network, is proud to announce that two of their company leaders have become Clio Certified Consultants (CCC). Clio is a cloud-based law firm practice management solution targeted toward small firms and solo practitioners. As CCCs, Carmichael is authorized to provide implementation, customization, training and support services for the Clio platform.
Since 2007, Clio’s core functionality captures the needs of the majority of small law firms including time tracking, calendaring, note-taking, document management, trust accounting, billing and managing retainers. The CCC program is designed to allow consultants, like Carmichael, to offer Clio as a cloud-based alternative to traditional client-server practice management systems.
Certification required that Carmichael owner Tyler Jones and Director of Service Delivery Neil May each complete an eight hour online course and pass an exam. CCCs are trained on all aspects of Clio’s functionality allowing them to leverage their knowledge to help improve their clients’ law practices. Jones completed his certification in August 2012 and May completed his this month.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer Clio’s robust practice management solution to our law firm clients,” said Jones. “Now, Carmichael will be able to make Clio more accessible to small and solo firms in the Atlanta Metro area.”
